Description :

Services provided by the Department of Telecommunications
1) Pimpri Chinchwad Municipal Corporation Installing and repairing VHF wireless systems at fire stations, water supply departments, etc., communicating messages through wireless control rooms
2) To maintain and repair VHF wireless system at Pavana Dam and NDRF Sudumbare etc., to communicate through wireless control room and to carry out central flood control.
3) Provide and maintain UHF walkie talkie system for security.
4) To set up, operate and maintain the telephone system in the main administrative building of the corporation.
5) Corporation To provide group mobile services to officers, employees and councilors.
6) Corporation To provide wireless 3-G / 4-G dongle facility to senior officers, engineers and offices.
7) To set up and maintain up-to-date CCTV system in the Corporation Headquarters.
8) Installation and repair of door frame metal detectors at Municipal headquarters.
9) To inform the concerned office bearers, officers and councilors about the various programs of the corporation
