The city administration of Pimpri Chinchwad constituted a centralised and structured governance — the city EV cell — to facilitate initiatives concerning the city’s EV ecosystem and coordinate with government departments, industry, and citizens.
The vision of the EV cell is to carry out functions and tasks that help establish Pimpri Chinchwad as an EV- ready city by 2025.
The mission of the EV cell is to work towards delivering on the EV targets that the Government of Maharashtra has set for the city of Pimpri Chinchwad in the Maharashtra EV Policy 2021.
